Rustomjee Group
Binitha Dalal is the Head of Fund Raising for the Rustomjee Group, which is into construction and education in the MMR region.
She joined the business in 2008, when the industry and the world economy was going through the Lehman effect and has since then been an integral part of the Finance Management and Raising for the Rustomjee Group.
Prior to that she gained her experience from Godrej Properties and Tata Consultancy Services for a brief period and also was part of the team that set up the Rustomjee International Business School in 2008.
She was initially part of operations within the group and gained all her knowledge from Mr. Chandresh Mehta (Promoter Director Rustomjee). However her flair for finance brought her into fund raising and in the short span of 7 years she has raised more than INR 7500cr for the group through debt and equity instrument. As a group we don't work with any investment bankers or financial intermediaries thus all financial activities are directly managed by her and her team.
Apart for fund raising she is also in-charge of the group insurance portfolios.
She is a Bachelor of Management Studies from Jai Hind College and believes that the best education comes from the University of "Hardknocks" which no one but your own experience can teach you.
She is also an active Member of the CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Association of India) National and CREDAI Youth Wing and the CREDAI - MCHI Committees including the CREDAI MCHI Women's WIng.
