Mr. Jyoti Prakash Gadia is the founder and Managing director of Resurgent India Limited. Resurgent India Limited is aninvestment bankingfirm primarily into advising the corporate in fund raising in the form of equity, debt, merchant banking, operational improvement and domestic and international Joint Ventures.
Mr. Gadia is admired for his speeches, knowledge sharing and innovative thoughts. Having a basket of knowledge in the financial domain, he holds much respected positions in various committees. He is the chairman of banking and financial services committee at PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr. Gadia is also the SME and Finance Committee co -convener for CII Delhi State and the Co-chairman of MSME National Committee at ASSOCHAM.
From a very humble beginning Resurgent India Limited have come a long way, having 150+ employees and pan-India presence with offices in Gurgaon, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Jaipur, and overseas presence in Dubai and Singapore. With his dedication and hard work Resurgent India Limited was able to play an advisory role in transactions worth more than USD 1 billion in FY 2017.
Having a good academic background Mr. Gadia is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA), a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst, qualified Company Secretary, Associate Member of Institute of Cost & Works Accountant of India (AICWA) (All India 8th rank holder) and holds an MBA in Finance.
He has taken many great initiatives for development of different sectors. It was his brain child which led to the signing of the first ever MoU between CII and Canara Bank for extending concessional bank credit to MSME members of CII.
